  • Source of funds/digital assets to be used in the relationship

  • Bank account information
  • Blockchain address
  • Additional Personal Data or documentation at the discretion of our compliance team

3. How we use your personal data

We do not share your Personal Data with third parties (other than partners in connection with their services to MATRIXPORT) except where you have given your consent and in cases further detailed below.

We may share your Personal Data with third parties in the good faith belief that such action is necessary:

  • To ensure the KYC and AML compliance (you understand and agree that we may share your Personal Data with BIT.COM (www.bit.com) for KYC and AML compliance purpose);
  • To protect and defend the rights or property of MATRIXPORT and/or its clients;
  • To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with MATRIXPORT;
  • To comply with government agencies, including regulators, law enforcement and/or justice departments;
  • To enable MATRIXPORT’s affiliates or partners to communicate with you regarding new products or services offered by them when you have not opted out from receiving such communication; and
  • To facilitate the service (such as administration or technical services) provided by MATRIXPORT’s third-party service provider (these third-party service provider may have access to your Personal Data to the extent of performance of certain services and are obliged not to disclosure or use it for any other purpose).

5. Do we transfer your personal data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. Please note that we may transfer the data, including Personal Data, outside your jurisdiction and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to such transfer.

By submitting your Personal Data, you agree to such transfer, storing or processing. All information you provide to us is stored on our and/or third-party cloud servers.

7. How long do we retain your data

We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies. By using our Service, you are giving a consent for us to retain your data.

If you are a resident of the EEA, you have certain data protection rights. We aim to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data. However, we imply the same rights to all our users from any jurisdiction.

We will do our best to do so as soon as possible with exception that we may refuse your deletion request in certain circumstances, such as compliance with law or legal purposes.

In response to data access, correction, or deletion request, we will verify the requesting party’s identity to ensure that he or she is legally entitled to make such request. While we aim to respond to these requests free of charge, we reserve the right to charge you a reasonable fee should your request be repetitive or onerous.

You have the right to complain to a Data Protection Authority about our collection and use of your Personal Data. For more information, please contact your local Data Protection Authority in the European Economic Area.

10. Marketing Communications

We may communicate company news, promotions, and information relating to our products and services provided by MATRIXPORT. We may share Personal Data with our affiliates to send marketing communications. By using our Service, you accept this Privacy Policy and you agree to receive such marketing communications, unless you choose to opt out from these marketing communications. To ensure the quality of our Service, for Service-related communications, such as policy/terms updates and operational notifications, you understand you will not be able to opt out of receiving such information.

We take various measures to ensure information security, including ensuring all the visits to MATRIXPORT are SSL encrypted; requiring two-factor authentication for all sessions; conducting periodic review of our Personal Data collection, storage, and processing practices; and ensuring restricted access to your Personal Data on a need-to-know bases for our employees and vendors who are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations.

You understand you are solely responsible for your interactions with other MATRIXPORT users. We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other users.
